There is a wide variety of destinations, products and services in this world!   Whether you want to be pampered or travel more moderately, I can help you find the travel plan that best suits your needs.  Prior to starting, figure out your budget, keeping in mind your money is valuable!  Saving some money may not be worth it if your hotel is dirty or 12 miles from town. I will be here to help you decide what matters most and what is worth it to you... and how that translates to the specific destination you are headed.

Thank you for asking, yes. With 24 years of experience, you are not paying for my service to "book a trip".  I am here to give you professional advice, research your specific dream vacation, offer feedback and give recommendations. I continue to take courses, travel & stay in contact with my trusted vendors, giving me a knowledge base & connections that will help your travel go as smooth as we can control.

Many people know that travel agents are paid commission, however many do not know that we do not get compensation for our work until after you complete your trip. Also, if you have to cancel (for any unexpected reason), I never get paid a penny. My small upfront cost is to cover my time taking care of you from the day you contact me until after you come home. I will be your advocate!

Also know it is a personal goal to earn your return business and referrals!  Once I know more about your dream trip, I will be able to give you an exact quote of my service, however my fees start at $60 & go up based on the complexity of each trip.  Most trips are around $100.  

When booking your vacation plans, the acceptable forms of payment will vary depending on the travel plan you purchase.

I sell the world!  I have worked with and been to many countries. I also have reputable contacts & specialists for places I have not been.  If you ask about a trip which I know I am not a good resource for, I will let you know before we dive in to planning together. 

Yes, when you book your vacation with me, I can also help with planning day trips / excursions.  This can vary by destination. In some cases, I have multiple options to work with to find you great activities in your destination & sometimes there are less available. Once your trip is booked, we can discuss optional extras.

I do not book day trips alone; however I can recommend a few cool trips here ... and feel free to search through those links, there are thousands of cool things to see in this world!!  Check these out for starters!

That is up to you!  ... And me .... If you know where you want to go, and just need help planning the details, I am here!  If you are unsure where, I will take the time to get to know you & your wishes, then make recommendations that are well suited to your dream.

As we work together to plan your trip I will take time to understand your wishes and plan a trip.  Unfortunately, with travel, changes can happen. I will not have control of the weather, mechanical breakdowns, provider misrepresentation and unforeseen events. However, I will be transparent & do what I can to try to help you gain the best possible outcome.

Shortly before you depart, I will prepare you with all the contact information for your vendors & your travel insurance (if you accepted it).  Even if I am available to help, often your quickest way to resolve a travel solution is by talking to the travel companies directly involved where you are.  I will help when I am available, however I do not offer 24/7 service.  I also will be here to help after travel to find out if there is any recourse you can ... or should take. 

No ... buuuut ... I would recommend having it when you travel, especially internationally!  Let me ask you, what is your plan if you fall and shatter your hip in Hawaii?  What is your plan if your credit cards, cash & passport are stolen out of your rental car?  What is your plan if a hurricane is headed your way and your airline doesn't fly your return route for 3 more days?  What is your plan if you are across the world when your dearest grandfather passes away?  Travel emergencies can cost thousands, even hundreds of thousands of dollars, how will you get through those situations if you do not have a worldwide emergency line to help you through?  There are many choices in travel insurance, I will do my best to explain the differences so you can make an educated decision for yourself.
